About SIFT

SIFT is a small, family-run flour mill based in Minnesota.

We mill whole grain on demand, working slowly and intentionally. Flour is milled only after orders are placed, so it’s fresh when it reaches your kitchen and retains more of what the grain naturally contains.

SIFT began with a simple goal: feeding our family nutritious food made from real ingredients. Fresh-milled flour allows us to work with the whole grain, including the bran and germ, without aging or refining.

Our work is shaped by family life and the rhythms that come with it. Milling on demand and offering local pickup allows us to reduce waste, stay present, and work at a pace that respects both the grain and the people using it.

SIFT is for everyday baking: bread, pancakes, cookies, and simple meals made with care, shared around the table.
